Contain
the problem.
Permanently.

Fusion Bonded Epoxy steel containment for water and wastewater treatment systems — the engineered vessel inside the plant, for communities, estates and mines that can't afford a failing pond.

The reason it fails

The effluent trap

Wastewater is the most aggressive duty a tank will ever see. Ponds seep. Plastic liners shrink, puncture and cook in the sun. And every failure means honeysuckers, penalties, and a treatment system that stops treating.

WITH FAILING CONTAINMENT

The plant runs on borrowed time

Lined earth ponds seep into the ground you live on — and into the compliance file.

Plastic-lined tanks fail in aggressive effluent: chemicals, heat and abrasion find the liner first.

Every failure is a callout: honeysuckers, pump-outs, emergency tanker cycles — paid for forever.

Non-compliance means penalties, licence risk, and downstream contamination on your name.

WITH A RHINO TANK

The vessel outlasts the problem

Fusion Bonded Epoxy is fused to the steel at 200 °C — the barrier is part of the panel, not a bag inside it.

Chemical, abrasion and UV resistant, inside and out. Rated −30 °C to +85 °C.

No liner to shrink, puncture or replace. Damage is repairable on site — no rebuild.

An engineered, inspectable, compliant vessel — with 40+ years of service in it.

Cheap containment isn't cheap. It's just billed later.

One tank. Four hard answers.

Built for the duty nothing else survives

01 / BONDED

Part of the steel

Each panel is grit-blasted, pre-heated and electrostatically coated, then cured at 200 °C. The epoxy doesn't cover the steel — it becomes its surface.

02 / NO LINER

Nothing to replace

No plastic bag to shrink, fold, puncture or swap out every few years. No liner replacement line item, ever.

03 / AGGRESSIVE DUTY

Effluent-grade

Chemical, abrasion and UV resistant. Bolted carbon-steel panels engineered to 11.8 million litres, tested past 3 000 hours of salt spray.

04 / REPAIRABLE

A 40-year asset

FBE is repairable on site. The tank is bolted, inspectable and maintainable — infrastructure, not a consumable.

The engineering

Specified like infrastructure

The same FBE bolted-steel system we build for municipal, mining and industrial duty — because water and wastewater containment is infrastructure, whether it serves a mine, an estate or a village.

Locally manufactured

Not imported in a container. Punched, blasted and FBE-coated in our own factory — so panels fit, spares are close, and the engineering answers to us.

  • South African steel, South African manufacture
  • Factory-controlled FBE application and curing
  • Spares, support and site repair a phone call away

Containment within treatment

The vessel
inside the plant.

A treatment plant is only as good as the vessels it runs in. Rhino Tanks are the engineered containment inside water and wastewater systems — for treatment partners, estates, mines and communities.

CONTAIN

Balance & hold

Raw inflow balancing, buffer and emergency holding — aggressive contents in a bonded vessel that doesn't seep, bulge or leak into the ground.

TREAT

Process vessels

Reactor, clarifier and sludge-holding duty for package-plant and treatment-system partners. We supply the engineered vessel; your process runs inside it.

RETURN

Treated-water storage

Hold treated effluent for irrigation, dust suppression, process re-use or compliant discharge — closing the loop on the same bolted platform.

We size and engineer the containment. Your treatment specialist or plant OEM designs the process. Together, the system serves an estate, a mine village or a whole community — permanently.

Permanent by design

A pond seeps. A liner fails. Bonded steel stays.

Wastewater doesn't forgive cheap containment — it finds the weak point and sends the bill downstream. A Rhino Tank is the point where a community, an estate or a mine stops renting its containment year by year and owns it for a generation. We bond the steel. You close the loop.

Let's size the vessel your plant runs in.
